Taoists tell me that the yin yang symbol represents cyclical change. Taoists rotate the symbol into any number of positions to illustrate cyclical change. Likewise, I rotate my House of Ideology Mandala into a number of possible positions to illustrate points within a cycle of change. In this case, I choose to rotate in the same direction as a watch hand rotates around the face of a clock in order to suggest the passage of time. I believe the global culture is a chaotic dynamic system strangely attracted to progression through phases of a cycle of change that I depict by rotating my House of Ideology Mandala.  My interpretation of the phases of a cycle of change that I depict by rotating my House of Ideology Mandala follows from the relative position of each of the four major elements that make up the House of Ideology Mandala, and from the meaning of the formation of seven symbols.

At the point in the cycle of change where the red dot rotates into its’ highest position and the black dot rotates into its’ lowest position, I depict the symbolic dominance of the yang cosmic principle. At this point, the drive of the seed to create dominates over all other drives. From dominance of the drive of the seed to create in the minds of the many comes dominance of creator worldview in the global culture. Communities of faithful believers who devote energy, space, and time to creator worldview; affirm an ability to know about the existence of a deity or deities; and claim this ability to know leads to a belief in a myth about the existence of a good one in Heaven who commands members to channel all sexual energy into sex for procreative purposes. As such, communities of faithful believers self organized around creator worldview are gnostic theists that prohibit sex for occupational, recreational, and homosexual purposes; object to sexual education that could make these practices safer; and attribute a will to their deity and or deities that follows from the drive of the seed to create rather than the drive of the spirit to revive. The affirmation of an ability to know may also lead these gnostic theists to a belief in a myth about the existence of a spiritual conflict between good and evil; and or a belief in a myth about the existence of a supernatural system of reward and punishment; that has the effect of increasing pressure upon members of communities of faithful believers to channel all sexual energy in to sex for procreative purposes.  The net result of these beliefs is an exponential expansion of the global population as communities of faithful believers self organized around creator worldview behave like racist, heterofascist, warmongers motivated to out work, out fight and out number competition in a race to Armageddon.

As the cycle of change continues to progress, the yang cosmic principle falls from a position of dominance; and the yin cosmic principle rises from a position of submission.  At the point within the cycle of change where in balance occurs between rising black dot on the left of the Mandala and falling red dot on the right of the Mandala, a balance of power between yin and yang occurs. At this point, the drive of the body to survive dominates over all other drives. From the dominance of the drive of body to survive in the minds of the many comes the dominance of survivor worldview in the global culture. Communities of faithful believers who devote energy, space, and time to survivor worldview; affirm an inability to know about the existence of a deity and or deities; and claim this inability to know leads to a disbelief. As such, communities of faithful believers self organized around survivor worldview are agnostic atheists.  The reason for progression in the cycle of change is simply that the drive of the seed to create is confronted by the limited dimensions of the body consuming biosphere. The resources necessary for the seed to create have become scarce and hard to come by and focus now turns to the survival of the body. Strain upon the non-renewable resources of the body consuming biosphere becomes evident. Pollution, deforestation, desertification, and desolation caused by human activity outpaces the ability to renew the resources of the body consuming biosphere. Subsistence level existence becomes a way of life for many. Thousands of timid and harmless infants and young children begin to die on a daily basis of starvation.

As the cycle of change continues to progress, the yin cosmic principle rises and the yang cosmic principle falls. At the point within the cycle of change where in the black dot is directly over top of the red dot, the yin cosmic principle comes to dominate the global culture and the drive of the soul to perfect dominates all others. From dominance of the drive of the soul to perfect in the minds of the many comes dominance of perfector worldview in the global culture. Communities of faithful believers who devote energy, space, and time to perfector worldview; affirm an ability to know about the non existence of a deity and or deities; and claim this ability to know leads to a disbelief.  As such communities of faithful believers that self organize around perfector worldview are gnostic atheists. Reason for this progression in the cycle of change is that gradual environmental degradation and or genetic degradation causes the quality of space and longevity of time inherent in seed bodies to diminish. Another reason might be that sudden catastrophic change causes a civilization out on a technological limb to fall.  Freedom of the soul to perfect marks triumph over inhibition to hate characteristic of the drive of the body to survive. Freedom is a two-edged sword that offers self and or states a choice to love and or hate, fear and or faith, truth and or lie, save and or crucify.

Evolution of life on planet Earth has progressed at times in a gradual steady manner. At other times, sudden catastrophic change disturbs the delicate balance of conditions required to support life of various species and precipitates mass extinctions. Maybe sudden catastrophic change will be in the form of a global nuclear war, a super volcano eruption, and or the impact of a massive body from outer space falling to Earth. In the aftermath, most if not all the many of our global culture would be incapable of functioning effectively within a society of sufficient technological sophistication to support their continued survival. As a result, any alliance that may have developed between communities of faithful believers self organized around creator worldview and communities of faithful believers self organized around survivor worldview is dissolved and ideological change occurs.  Maybe from freedom to hate comes a standard of conduct enforced by belief in a perfectionistic system of reward and punishment that frees self to act in hate towards imperfection of those life forms found to be lacking within the world around self. Maybe plutocrats are free to hate because of their wealth, and because of their abilities to apply knowledge of the laws of cause and effect that predict the behavior, fate, and destiny of matter and energy of the known universe to the problem of perfecting their world. Maybe living conditions simply become too difficult for the many of our global culture.

As the cycle of change continues to progress, the yin cosmic principle falls from a position of dominance and the yang cosmic principle rises from a position of submission. At the point within the cycle of change where in balance occurs between rising red dot on the left of the Mandala and falling back dot on the right of the Mandala, another balance of power between yin and yang occurs. At this point, the drive of the spirit to revive becomes dominantCommunities of faithful believers who devote energy, space and time to reviver worldview; affirm an inability to know about the non existence of a deity and or deities; and claim this inability to know along with a desire to be happy and healthy leads to a belief. As such communities of faithful believers self organized around reviver worldview are agnostic theists. Out of an infinite number, diversity, and variety of myths about the existence of one totality made possible by the existence of discovery and the existence of mystery, some of these agnostic theists may choose as I do to believe in the one myth that enables us; to have the highest esteem of the existence of one totality.  Thereby some of these agnostic theists may choose as I do to produce emotional balance in our minds that is conducive to happiness and health in our lives. From spirit to souls of those who choose reviver worldview come spiritual laws of love and freedom and tolerance of belief in any myth about the existence of one totality made possible by the existence of discovery and the existence of mystery. The reason for this progression in the cycle is that the drive of the soul to perfect is effective at improving the quality of space and longevity of time inherent within seed bodies. Above a certain threshold level, the many of our global culture are capable of functioning effectively within a society of sufficient technological sophistication to support survival and rebound expansion. I believe this leads to the fall of the yin cosmic principle from dominance and the rise of the yang cosmic principle. Eventually yin and yang reach parity of influence in a culture characterized by respect, tolerance and freedom. At this point, balance occurs between the rise of the yang cosmic principle and the fall of the yin cosmic principle.  From dominance of the drive of the spirit to revive in the minds of the many comes dominance of reviver worldview in the global culture.

As the cycle of change continues to progress, yin cosmic principle falls and yang cosmic principle rises. At the point in the cycle of change where the red dot rotates into its’ highest position and the black dot rotates into its’ lowest position, the drive of the seed to create again dominates over all other drives. The reason for the progression in the cycle of change is that respect, tolerance and freedom make possible a revival of communities of faithful believers self organized around creator worldview and a resurgence of the drive of the seed to create.  From here a repetition of the cycle may begin.

Four things combine to make up my model of the existence of one totality. These four things are seed body of world, seed body of self, soul spirit of self and soul spirit of world. From thought of these four things comes experience of four basic families of emotion. I experience these four basic families of emotion as sadness, fear, anger, and joy.

All of this leads me to the following questions: “Presently, where is our global culture at in this cycle of change?” The answer is that just as each of us makes up our own mind about the existence of one totality so each of us envisions a world where in one or more of four drives dominates over others. Since heterofascist, atheistic, perfectionistic, nationalistic, negativism is dominant within most if not all societies that combine to make up the global culture, I would argue that the drives of seed and body to create and survive dominates over the drive of soul and spirit to perfect and revive. Therefore, I most typically depict the House of Ideology Mandala  with yin rising and yang falling at about equal levels of dominance to reflect the current situation. This implies that we are headed into the phase where in perfector worldview comes to dominate the global culture.

Maybe a more interesting question is the following: Where in this cycle of change do I see myself?  I take a love of healthy, agnostic, positivistic, nationalistic, spiritization of my model of the existence of one totality to its’ logical extreme.  I am opposed to the hatred of heterofascist, atheistic, perfectionistic, nationalistic, negativism. Given these premises, I conclude that my model of the existence of one totality is consistent with a point in the cycle of change where in the drive of the spirit to revive is dominant. Along with the dominance of the drive of the spirit to revive goes the House of Ideology Mandala of the spirit.

I have enemies who are my enemies. These are the gnostic theists who behave like racist, heterofascist, warmongers motivated to out work, out fight and out number competition in the global culture. They affirm an ability to know about the existence of a deity or deities and claim this ability to know leads to a belief in a spiritual conflict between a good one in Heaven and an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth. They are the creators of our body consuming biosphere and are motivated by creator worldview.

I have enemies who are my friends. These are the agnostic atheists who have an open mind although they come to a different conclusion about the existence of one totality than I do. They affirm an inability to know about the existence of a deity and or deities and claim this inability to know leads to a disbelief. They are the survivors of our body consuming biosphere and are motivated by survivor worldview.

I have friends who are my enemies. These are the gnostic atheists and they are the perfectionistic masters of laws of cause and effect that predict the behavior, fate, and destiny of matter and energy in the known universe. Gnostic atheists affirm an ability to know about the non-existence of a deity and or deities and claim this ability to know leads to a disbelief. They are the perfectors of our body consuming biosphere and are motivated by perfector worldview.

Gnostic atheists may even claim to have made up creator worldview as a ideological tool useful to themselves in buying influence from conservative ideological authorities over gnostic theists. Gnostic atheists then send gnostic theists to battle against agnostic atheists over whom they also buy influence. From this investment, they profit mightly from the sale and manufacture of the services and products of a beast of a military industrial complex.

I have friends who are my friends. These are the agnostic theists and they  raise the esteem of the existence of one totality of those whom they influence to the highest level. Agnostic theists affirm an inability to know about the non-existence of a deity and or deities and claim a desire to be happy and healthy leads to a belief. Out of an infinite number, diversity, and variety of myths about the existence of one totality made possible by the existence of discovery and the existence of mystery, some of these agnostic theists may choose to believe as I do in the one myth that enables us; to have the highest esteem of the existence of one totality. Thereby some of these agnostic theists may choose as I do to produce emotional balance in our minds conducive to happiness and health in our lives. They are the revivors of our body consuming biosphere and are motivated by revivor worldview.

Agnostic theists build a model of the existence of one totality that includes the other three categories of myth and ask: Why are we not having fun and making love instead of war? Why are gnostic theists and agnostic atheists made to fight over myths about the existence of one totality by gnostic atheists? Why don't we behave more like friendly, homotolerant, peace makers and less like racist, heterofascist, warmongers? Why don't we choose to believe in the one myth that enables us; to have the highest esteem of the existence of one totality; and thereby produce in our minds emotional balance that is conducive to happiness and health in our lives?

Maybe Gulliver is to the many of our global culture as the Lulliputians are to a mercenary plutocratic predatory few that profit from the sale and manufacture of the services and products of a beast of a military industrial complex. Maybe this cycle of change must be broken if Gulliver; is to be freed from being in bondage to the Lulliputians; and is to continue on in his travels.  Maybe this cycle of change must be broken if we are to transform the politics, economies and religions of our global culture so that friendship, liberation and faith in divine power play a greater role and extortion, intimidation and fear of military power play a lesser role
