XIX. Continuous Spiritual Communion

My model of the existence of one totality is, in part, the product of my biological and cultural heritage and, in part, the work of my will. Millions of years of evolution have produced my body and raised the global culture as a whole to progressively higher levels of conscious awareness of the existence of one totality. My will meets this higher conscious awareness and my highly evolved body. My will manifests as my inner voice, conscience, and source of inspiration. My highly evolved body makes available a limited number, variety, and diversity, of possibilities for thought, feeling, and action, in an unconscious mind and my divine eternal soul selects, from moment to moment, the one possibility out of all made possible that manifests within my conscious mind as my free will. I believe that in the act of conscious thought, my soul gets inside my mind, guides my will, and rides my body.

I do not know that the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality is true. If I were to claim to know that the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality is true, then I would be no better than religious leaders who repeat the lie that myth is truth in defense of their fraud, threat making and extortion. I acknowledge that the presence of evidence in the form of the universe leads by valid logical inductive inference to the conclusion that the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality is possible and may be true. Scientific research seems to affirm the theory that optimistic thoughts, beliefs and expectations about the existence of one totality have a beneficial influence on our health and our health related behaviors. Therefore, I choose to think, believe, and expect, that the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality is true because I desire to experience the potential emotional and physiological benefits of doing so.

I desire to enjoy the entertainment that I derive from the thought, belief, and expectation, that my way of ornamenting my model of the existence of one totality with myth is true. I do not choose to close my mind by merely concluding I do not know. Doing so would cause me to fall back into the trap of being a pessi-mystic. I choose to be an opti-mystic. I open my mind to the possibility that the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality may come to me through the divine eternal essence of finite self in continuous spiritual communion with the divine eternal essence of infinite world. From meditation on what is possible within the realm of mystery, I realize that truth limits myth. I base my truth and knowledge of theory on finite scientifically reproducible discovery. I know what I know based on scientifically reproducible discovery of truth and I do not know what I do not know based on what is possible within the realm of mystery. What is possible within the realm of mystery is that my soul guides my mind towards the true myth about the existence of one totality that if and when believed to be true best satisfies my need and aspiration to achieve and maintain happiness and health. There is truth that is within the grasp of my fractal, infernal, temporal, senses and tools and there is truth that is beyond the grasp of my fractal, infernal, temporal, senses and tools. Just because a truth is beyond the grasp of my fractal, infernal, temporal, senses and tools does not mean that it is any less true.

Some scientific authorities teach us to come to know of the truth through a scientific method. In the case of my hypothesis that my will is guided by my divine eternal soul in continuous spiritual communion with our infinite, divine, eternal, spirit, I am not dealing with a hypothesis that is testable, disprovable, or provable, by scientific method. I believe a divine eternal soul spirit guides my mind to ornament a model of the existence of one totality with the most optimistic myth. When I think, believe and expect that the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality is true, I produce in my mind powerful emotional responses of joy, faith, and love. These powerful emotional responses of joy, faith and love balance the powerful emotional responses of sorrow, fear and anger that follow from the discovery of the impending disease and death of my seed body. Therefore I choose to think, believe and expect that the most optimistic myth is true in order to be able to produce in my mind emotional balance that is conducive to happiness and health in my life; and not because of the lie that myth is truth.

There is no way that I know of to use my senses and tools to observe, test, prove, and or disprove the idea that the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality is true. I recognize and acknowledge that there is a number, variety, and diversity, of valid possible ways of ornamenting a model of the existence of one totality with myth only limited by our creative abilities and powers of imagination. Continuous spiritual communion is merely one of an endless number of positive possibilities. While all of these possible ways of ornamenting a model of the existence of one totality with myth may be valid as logical possibilities; many may be invalid as rational default positions because belief in pessimistic myths about the existence of one totality produce undesirable results in the form of pessimistic thoughts, beliefs and expectations that are not conducive to happiness and health. If the results desired are optimistic thoughts, beliefs and expectations that correlate with improved health and avoidance of depression; then the most optimistic way of ornamenting a model of the existence of one totality with myth is certainly valid both as a possibility and as a rational default position; because belief in the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality produces these desired results.

From my point of view as High Ideologue of the House of Ideology, the more important consideration is the emotional responses produced by the thought of an idea. I think, believe, and expect that a divine eternal essence of self that I call my soul guides my mind and is in continuous spiritual communion with a divine eternal essence of infinite world that I call our spirit; and in my mind I produce powerful emotional forces of joy, faith and love that balance the powerful emotional forces of sorrow, fear, and anger that follow from the discovery of the impending disease and death of my seed body. Maybe I am correct to think, believe and expect that the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality is true even though I know the truth is that myth is myth: Maybe a divine eternal essence of finite self that I call soul guides my mind and is in continuous spiritual communion with a divine eternal essence of infinite world that I call our spirit. Maybe if the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality is true then the fact that I think, believe, and expect, the most optimistic myth about the existence of one totality is true could significantly boost my ability to make use of continuous spiritual communion. Maybe boosting my ability to make use of continuous spiritual communion will help me further develop my psychic powers.

In any case, powerful emotional responses of joy, faith, and love caused by thoughts, beliefs, and expectations arising from the mystery of the divine immunity and eternal life of my soul spirit balance the emotional forces of sorrow, fear, and anger, caused by thoughts, beliefs, and expectations arising from discovery of the impending destruction, disease, and death of my seed body. I believe I can best satisfy my need and aspiration to achieve and maintain happiness and health by devoting my energy, space, and time to a model of the existence of one totality that affirms the guidance of my will by my divine eternal soul. I have resolved to create a model of the existence of one totality in my mind that is capable of best satisfying my need and aspiration to achieve and maintain happiness and health. I will include the idea that my divine eternal soul rides my body, gets inside my mind, guides my will, and selects the thoughts and feelings that I experience as consciousness.

I think, believe, and expect our divine eternal souls are in continuous communion with our spirit. I believe our divine eternal souls select those possibilities for thoughts, beliefs, and actions that will be transformed into energy, space, and time and manifest as our conscious wills, from those possibilities for thoughts, beliefs, and actions made available by the unconscious minds created by our seed bodies. I celebrate ideas about the existence of one totality that result from the thought, belief and expectation that the guidance of our wills by our soul spirit is continuous.

I celebrate my spiritual liberation, even if some theistic negativists warn me not to celebrate my most optimistic way of ornamenting a model of the existence of one totality with myth because they consider their pessimistic way to be good and or my most optimistic way to be evil. I celebrate my spiritual liberation even though aggressive ideological traditions propagated by conservative ideological authorities patronized by a mercenary plutocratic predatory few promote a belief in a model of the existence of one totality divided by a spiritual conflict between a good one in Heaven and an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth. I celebrate my spiritual liberation even if these same conservative ideological authorities warn me that I risk unpleasant consequences in my life and or afterlife including and not limited to the judgment of my resurrected body by their good one in Heaven; and the condemnation of my resurrected body to an abominable infernal place of alienation and torment where in an evil one will be sent by the good one in Heaven on judgment day. I celebrate my spiritual liberation even if these same conservative ideological authorities threaten me with attack by their evil one during life and threaten me with eternal torment in an abominable infernal place called hell after death. I celebrate my spiritual liberation because these aggressive ideological traditions propagated by conservative ideological authorities patronized by a mercenary plutocratic predatory few offer me only the spiritual slavery of a model of the existence of one totality divided by a spiritual conflict between good and evil that produces a low esteem of self and a low esteem of world.

I believe that my soul, my source of inspiration, my guiding light is perfect, divine and eternal. I believe my divine eternal soul guides my will in the direction that is right for me. It feels great to believe that this is so, and I believe that feeling great is great for my health and produces beneficial health related behavior. I am going to enjoy great feelings in my life by devoting energy, space, and time to my most optimistic way of ornamenting a model of the existence of one totality with myth and think, believe and expect that my divine eternal soul guides my will continuously.
