XXXIII. Quantity
of Energy: Soul Spirit of World
Measurement of the
total quantity of energy of the world remains beyond the grasp of scientific inquiry.
I do not know what mystery may exist beyond our universe. It may be that our universe represents only an infinitesimal part of the total
quantity of energy, quality of space and longevity of time embodied within the world. Science is unable
to measure the quantity of energy inherent in the being of the soul spirit of world. As
such I may choose a value for the description of the quantity of energy inherent in the being
of the soul spirit of world that is consistent with my goal of using the most
optimistic myth about the existence of one totality to produce in my mind
emotional balance conducive to health and happiness in my life. The set of
positive possibilities for the description of the quantity of energy inherent in the being of
the soul spirit of world ranges from a lower limit of zero to an upper limit of infinity.
Out of abundance comes compassion, forgiveness, freedom, grace, peace, joy, and divinity.
Out of scarcity comes ignorance, guilt, inhibition, disgrace, suffering, sorrow, and
abomination. From the range of possible values for the quantity of energy of
the soul spirit of world, I
choose the
extreme value that enables me to produce the most optimistic
thoughts, beliefs and expectations about the existence of one totality. For these reasons, I describe the quantity of energy inherent
in the soul spirit of world as infinite. |
